FAQ

  • Do you take insurance?

Not yet. For the time being we are an “out of network” provider, though we hope to contract with insurances in the future.

We can provide you with a super-bill, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, if you have a PPO plan through your “out-of-network” benefits. Please contact your insurer for details on their reimbursement procedures. The codes we use are 90791-95 for intakes, 90837-95 for individual sessions/parent coaching, and 90853-95 for groups. If insurance does not reimburse you, you will be responsible for the full cost of our services.

  • What are the benefits of private pay?

In order to receive any mental health services covered by insurance, you must be diagnosed with a mental health disorder. Despite recent gains in reducing stigma around mental health care in recent years, we understand that stigma still exists. Private pay offers the highest level of confidentiality for your treatment, as we do not need to add a mental health diagnosis to your medical record, nor will insurance companies have access to your clinical documentation. Additionally, getting therapy covered by insurance may require you to meet a deductible or provide limitations on their coverage based on your diagnosis. With private pay, we are able to avert all of these potential stressors.

According to the federal "The No Surprises Act (H.R. 133)," you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost prior to initiating treatment or before your scheduled appointment.
